Hi, We're in a North Austin middle school. Contact your school and find out who is the testing coordinator and email them about their policies on opting out. If you agree with them, then good. But if not, create your own.
Last year, we had a 40 minute window of time for the opt-out kids to refuse the test (but they had to sit for the rest of the assessment time in the library). We picked out our middle schooler after that 40 minutes for assessment days and they didn't have to do a refusal for the rest of the week.
